Birthdays, weddings, graduations and baby showers happen all year, and they add up. Planning them like the holidays takes the pressure off.
A simple system
- List every birthday and known event for the year
- Set a typical amount for each
- Add them up and divide by twelve
- Save that amount every month alongside your holiday fund
Kids' parties
Smaller parties at home or in a park, a few friends instead of the whole class, and a simple theme can be just as much fun for a fraction of the cost.
